The guiding principle behind the youth scheme is to give children an understanding and lifelong love of music.

Starter Brass
This is a group learning session with a professional teacher using modern methods with interactive media.
Thursdays 6 - 6.30pm and 6.30 – 7pm.  8yrs +

Youth Band
We are recruiting young brass and percussion players to play public concerts and perform with the Town Band.
Rehearsals on Thursdays 7.15 – 8.15pm

The youth band performed for the first time at a concert with the Sherborne Town Band and Aveley and Newham Band.

The first public performance of the Youth Education Scheme and Sherborne Youth Band at the Digby Hall on 9th February 2009.
